Your role at a glance 🤸‍♀️
You'll work closely with designers, engineers, specialist stakeholders, and the Product director to develop Accounting and Spend Management capabilities which form a core part of our platform and value proposition. You will act as the voice of our customers and be a stable bridge between engineering and the business. You will also help the team function as an empowered product team by setting the right product culture and vision, and help the team deliver high quality impactful features.

Your responsibilities 👏

In this role, you’ll stand over the Accounting and Spend Management product suite at Juni. You R&R would cover:

1. Product Strategy and Vision: Defining the strategic direction of accounting and spend management products, aligning them with the company's overall business strategy. This involves creating product roadmaps that outline planned features and enhancements based on customer feedback, competitors, market demands and business priorities.
2. Empowered Product Team: Setting the right product culture within your product team that empowers all team members to empathise with customer pain points and understand the impact of features they are building.
3. Customer Research: Conduct thorough customer research to understand customer (ICP) needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape in the accounting industry. This includes gathering insights through customer interviews, surveys, and data analysis.
4. Cross-functional collaboration: Working closely with various departments such as engineering, design, commercial, and finance to ensure effective product development and launch. This includes facilitating communication and alignment among different teams.
5. Product Development Oversight: Managing the product backlog, prioritizing features, and working closely with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of accounting and spend management products
6. Market Positioning and trainings: Developing strategies for positioning and pricing accounting and spend management products in the market. Ensuring that the commercial teams have been trained on product features and value propositions clearly understood by all.

Within 1 month you will:

• Understand how Juni’s product teams work
• Be integrated with your team
• Ship your first Accounting and Spend Management features 🚢

Within 3 months you have:

• Stronghold of your teams' growth metrics
• Deep understanding of your team’s roadmap
• Shipped many features and fix critical bugs 🐛

Within 6 months you will:

• Oversee delivery against your metrics and roadmap (with some bumps along the way)
• Set 12-month rolling vision for Accounting and Spend management
• Actively participate in customer research to understand the voice of customer

Qualifications 👑

What we need to see

• Good understanding of Accounting principles. Certifications in accounting are a plus.
  
• 5+ years of product manager experience
  
• 8+ years of overall experience
  
• Understanding of spend management (Expenses, AP etc.)
  
• Native or Business-level fluency in both Swedish and English

What we’d love to see

• Familiarity with fintech, spend management, banking and/or financial services (preferably from Sweden)
  
• Experience working with Fortnox
  
• Experience integrating with accounting softwares and ERPs like Netsuite, MS Business Central, Fortnox, Datev
  
• Building accounting products in the capacity of product manager
  
• Engineering or computer science degree
